Through the partnership with REACT International, TURCU & TURCU assumed the role of pioneer in the prevention of counterfeiting by developing a national and regional strategy in fighting counterfeiting. To this purpose, we have established and we are currently managing the first national network for monitoring and supervising the internal market against counterfeiting acts, training the first intellectual property investigators in Romania.
An important part in our anticounterfeiting activity was played by the actions and trials based on Law 202/2000 regarding the protection of intellectual property rights within the customs operations, as the customs statistics show that more than 80% of the cases were solved by our law office.
Through the partnership with REACT International, TURCU & TURCU provides a national and regional strategy for fighting counterfeiting. In this respect, we have established and we manage the first national network for monitoring and supervising the internal market against the counterfeiting acts, by training the first investigators in intellectual property in Romania.
